I was a parks maint. worker for 10 years. This lopper has a great feel to it. The rubber grips are quite comfortable. I am skeptical about Corona,s claim that this lopper will cut a 2.25 inch branch. I tried it on a 2 inch branch and the handles began to flex, that is why I gave this lopper a 4 star rating. What I like about this lopper is it,s long reach. I know they make telescoping loppers that are slighty longer. Just about every telescoping lopper I have implemented has sucked, the handles finish up becoming taped in the fully extended position considering that they slip. With this lopper there is allmost no bending over which is amazing for people with poor backs. What I also like about this lopper is the fact that the handles are bolted to the blade shafts. A large number of loppers are a press fit which quite often come loose. I am glad I purchased this lopper. The two rubber cushions function properly. If the handles flex when you attempt to cut a massive branch, back off and use a saw or heavier lopper. There is no gap amongst the blades which is the sign of a good lopper. If this lopper is not abused it must final for a quite long time. I have a pair of Corona wood manage 26 inch bypass loppers that are nonetheless cutting well after 25 years!
