I purchased this item with high expectations considering the fact that I have owned their other goods in the past with no problems. I required a hose reel with a larger capacity and this one particular fit the bill. Massive MISTAKE! There are various style flaws with this item. The rewinding mechanism works as promised, Then again, the item falls apart when mounted to a wall. The rewinding unit just snaps into the wall mount and there is no way of securing it permanently. Therefore, the reel will fall off the wall under any type of load. Also, the hose does not "AUTO TRACK" as on their other models. Therefore, the hose would typically get stuck and you would have to manually feed the hose. This undoubtedly defeats the objective of this product. I enjoy these sorts of hose reels, just not this one particular. Steer clear of LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I have to agree that 4 bolts will need to do the trick, but the dilemma lies with unit's many pieces. You mount the base to the wall, then attach the other piece to it. This fails with a 100' hose effortlessly. To remedy the dilemma, I screwed the top attachment into the wall base and voila! It indicates I can not retailer the top piece with the hose devoid of unscrewing it, but I do not plan on it anyway. The manual did come with wall mounting instructions also. I noticed on the internet site that all products only mention floor mounting but at the front page (or someplace) it addresses all consumers desires by including wall mounting. While, I am certain it really is only true for some (check the manual via download).
